Because our freeze-dried spirulina and phycocyanin extract are consumable food products, our return policy is designed to protect both the integrity of our supply chain and the safety of our customers. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
Refund Eligibility
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all retail orders placed directly through royalspirulina.com. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 30 days of your delivery date, subject to the conditions outlined below.
Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for a refund, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The refund request is submitted within 30 days of the delivery date
- The product is unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging
- The product is in the same condition that you received it
- You can provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Opened Products
Please note: once a product has been opened, it is no longer eligible for a refund or return. This policy applies without exception and includes products where:
- The outer seal, inner safety seal, or tamper-evident packaging has been broken, removed, or damaged
- Any portion of the product has been consumed, measured, or transferred from its original container
- The packaging shows signs of having been opened, even if the contents appear untouched
This policy exists for two important reasons:
- Food safety and consumer protection. As a consumable food product held to FDA GRAS standards, we cannot resell, restock, or verify the integrity of any product that has left our sealed supply chain. Accepting opened returns would compromise the safety guarantees we provide to all of our customers.
- Product purity. Our freeze-dried spirulina and phycocyanin extract are held to strict quality standards. Once a seal is broken, we cannot verify that the product has not been exposed to moisture, contaminants, or temperature fluctuations.
We appreciate your understanding and encourage customers to review our Dosage Guide and product pages before purchasing to ensure Royal Spirulina is the right fit for your needs.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or contains an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will make it right at no additional cost to you. In these cases, please:
- Email us at info@royalspirulina.com with your order number
- Include clear photos of the damaged packaging and product
- Do not discard the product or packaging until we have resolved the issue
We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at our discretion, including return shipping costs where applicable.
How to Return a Product
Requesting a Refund
To initiate a refund request for an eligible (unopened) product:
- Email us at info@royalspirulina.com within 30 days of delivery
- Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for your request
- Wait for our team to respond with return authorization and shipping instructions
Do not ship products back without authorization. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or refunded.
Return Shipping
- Customer-initiated returns (unopened, change-of-mind, etc.): The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
- Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders: Royal Spirulina will cover return shipping costs.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:
- Opened or used products (see above)
- Products returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Wholesale and bulk orders (see separate terms on our Wholesale page)
- Products purchased through third-party retailers (please contact the retailer directly)
- Gift cards and promotional items
- Orders marked as “final sale”
Subscriptions & Cancellations
Autoship Orders
Customers enrolled in our Autoship program may cancel or modify their subscription at any time through their account dashboard or by contacting us. Individual shipments already processed or in transit follow the standard refund policy above (unopened products only, within 30 days of delivery).
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled for a full refund before they have been processed for shipment. Once an order has shipped, the standard refund policy applies. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at info@royalspirulina.com.

We may update this Refund & Returns Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will post any changes on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
